What are the responsibilities of a Diocesan Jubilee Officer?

Diocesan Jubilee Officers are a vital link between ministries found in a diocese, the congregations and bishops that support them, and the church wide Jubilee Ministry network. Provision for the appointment of Diocesan Jubilee Officers was made in the General Convention that followed the establishment of Jubilee Ministry to forge this vital link so that healthy communication and networking could develop.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That in each diocese there be appointed a Jubilee officer who will

become informed on all facets of the Jubilee Ministry,
serve as a liaison to the Jubilee Ministry Commission, and
be available as a resource to their bishops and congregations and
otherwise bring support to further Jubilee Ministries [in each diocese of the Church].

A strategic focus of Jubilee Ministry during the 2010-2012 triennium will target the training and development of Diocesan Jubilee Officers throughout the Church. A list of current Diocesan Jubilee Officers follows.
