Securing Economic Justice in a Global Crisis
It is during these dire economic times that our faith calls us to rectify the economic injustices that have long plagued those who have not benefited from previous years of growth and prosperity. The Gospels bear witness to the call that has been placed on people of faith to provide food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, welcome to the stranger, clothes to the naked, and visits to the prisoner (Matthew 25:35-36).  We are called to raise our voices on behalf of those in need to advocate for an economy that serves all of the people and for economic decisions that create shared prosperity for the many.

Have you visited a Jubilee Ministry Center?
A Jubilee Ministry Center is a congregation, an ecumenical cluster with an Episcopal presence, or an agency with connections to the Episcopal Church, already engaged in mission and ministry among and with poor and oppressed people. Each program comes out of the history of its community.    Find the Jubilee Ministry Center closest to you, here.

Share Your Story
As we strive for justice and peace, we can learn from what each other are doing. We can share in our successes and collaborate on our challenges. Post your stories – from everyday advocacy (the little things that sometimes happen and you even don’t realize they’re advocacy until it’s over) to parish and community efforts that you are a part of. This is the place for Episcopalians to share how we are striving for justice and peace! Take a few minutes to tell us how you've made a difference in your community. You'll be amazed at how just one story – yours – could inspire people around the world. We welcome your contribution!  Share your story HERE.
