In December, the United Nations Climate Change Conference will convene in Copenhagen to encourage world leaders to negotiate a global agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.

Next week, the National Council of Churches and Church World Service will be delivering nearly 15,000 postcards to President Obama and his administration as well as to key U.S. Senators. Many Episcopalians have already sent postcards to President Barack Obama encouraging him to attend the upcoming UN negotiations in Copenhagen and asking the U.S. Senate to take strong and effective action to prevent the worst impacts of climate change.
