The Standing Commission on World Mission reminds all Episcopalians that the last Sunday of Epiphany has been designated World Mission Sunday, and urges its observance in all congregations and dioceses.

In response to an SCWM request, we have created materials this year to draw attention to the suffering of Sudanese Christians. The people of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan are making a great witness in the face of persecution and other terrible difficulties.
