YOUR BEST DAYS ARE COMING!

That’s the message of START UP! START OVER!

Your congregation can rediscover the optimistic, mission-oriented spirit that marks healthy and thriving congregations.

START UP! START OVER! is for people who believe that church is about the transformation of people’s lives.

START UP!START OVER! provides practical, goal oriented congregational development and growth training.

START UP!START OVER! will benefit:

  • thriving congregations ready for their next step
  • congregations that have hit a growth plateau seeking new energy
  • congregations in decline needing a new direction
  • those planting a new church

The 2009 Start Up!Start Over! seminar has not yet been scheduled.

If you would like to be notified when the next seminar is scheduled please e-mail  smarquez@episcopalchurch.org  to be placed on the early notification list.

Who Should Attend

You qualify to attend if you say "YES" to any of these statements:

Our yesterdays were better than today.
Our members are tired and we have trouble finding enough volunteers.
There are people moving in nearby, and I want to help my congregation reach them.
I want my church to be more welcoming of all people and to be filled with the voices of children and youth.
I want to be able to share my faith with others.
We’re stable, but we know there is something better than being stable.
We should be starting new Episcopal churches.

All registrants are welcome!

Individual clergy and laity can learn a great deal and share what they’ve learned when they get home. TEAMS LEARN MORE! We encourage congregations and dioceses to send teams of clergy and laity to attend together and then bring their expertise and vision back home.

The Rev. Charles N. Fulton III, Director of Congregational Development and President of the Episcopal Church Building Fund, leads a seminar staff of experienced practitioners of church growth who have started new churches and led congregational turn-arounds.

This popular seminar consistently sells out before the registration deadline. Register early to ensure your space.
